Portugal plans to reopen its tourism from June

Portugal pins economic hopes on early reopening of tourism ...

Portugal is going to launch strict new rules for the tourists, as the country is planning to reopen its all major beaches in June. The hotel and tourism industry is hoping that the Brits can come here for summer holiday. Now Portugal and Britain are currently in talks to secure a deal which would allow Brits to avoid the 14-day mandatory isolation.

The government of Portugal has previously discussed the possibility of ‘air corridors’ which would allow people to fly between countries where the spread of the virus is low. The Portuguese foreign ministry said it had requested more information from the British government following the quarantine decision.
And a spokesman said it was optimistic about finding an acceptable solution. Now Algarve beaches are set to officially reopen on June 6. Joao Fernandes, head of the Algarve Tourism Board, said he was looking forward to Brits visiting the region once again.
And he welcomed the beach assistant scheme as he said that the initiative means Portugal is once again being a pioneer with regards to the balance between safety and leisure. These beach assistants are going to improve the experience of beachgoers, who will be received by a young and knowledgeable person.
Here the tourism is an experience of people for people and despite social distancing, nothing stopped them putting all the focuses into a pleasant welcome of those that visiting them.
Antonio Pina, head of the Algarve Municipalities Association which is behind the initiative, added that the beaches on the Algarve will be officially open from June 6, with a series of recommendations that protect bathers and offer every possible peace of mind to those who are on holiday.
