According to a report by leading international flight analytics agency OAG Aeroflot once again took first place in flight punctuality among the 20 largest airlines in the world in November 2019.
During the month Aeroflot’s flights operated exactly on schedule according to OAG’s monthly On-Time Performance. Key competitors were outperformed by Aeroflot and increased its punctuality by 2.3 percentage points when compared to the October’s performance.
Aeroflot bagged five-star rating for punctuality by OAG which made Aeroflot the only airline from Russia and the largest airline in Europe in terms of traffic to receive this rating.
In terms of flight punctuality Aeroflot has firmly established itself as a global leader in terms of flight punctuality . It follows strict adherence to its own rules for air transportation which includes regulations about carry-on dimensions, check-in and boarding time.
An airline’s image gets better by acting high levels of punctuality and it also has an economic benefit as the more the plane flies it gets cheaper the cost per flight hour, which in turn is also good the passengers.
