Georgia ranks 68th in Travel&Tourism Competitiveness report

Georgia is 68th among 140 countries of the Travel & Tourism Competitiveness report, Trend reports referring to the website of the World Economic Forum.

The report places Georgia in the subgroup of Europe and Eurasia. The world rating puts Georgia in 68th place, ahead of neighbor Azerbaijan (71th). The ranking gave Russia 39th place.

The top five countries most competitive in Travel and Tourism according to the report are Spain, France, Germany, Japan and the US.

Published biennially, the Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report and Index benchmark the T&T competitiveness of 140 countries and their different economies. Measuring the set of factors and policies that enable the sustainable development of the T&T sector, the report shows the development and competitiveness of a country in this field.
