Alternative Airlines ranked in Sunday Times Tech Track 100, following 248% growth

Global flight-search and booking website, Alternative Airlines, has been ranked in this year’s The Sunday Times Tech Track 100, a prestigious ranking of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies.
As the most intuitive and accessible platform for discovering and booking flights, Alternative Airlines provides access to more than 600 airlines worldwide, allowing travellers to book to some of the world’s most remote destinations in a fast, convenient way. Customers are offered a truly personalised user experience, with more than 25 payment methods in 160 currencies available.
Alternative Airlines has a dedicated agents’ hub, where travel agents can take advantage of the quick and secure booking system.
Growing from three to 32 staff and achieving a staggering revenue growth of 248% in just three years, Alternative Airlines has been ranked 93rd in the list and has forecasted £19.4m turnover by the end of 2019.
Customers can book in a way that suits them, with payment options including PayPal, Affirm, Klarna and Amazon Pay, allowing payment in monthly instalments.
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 ranks Britain’s top 100 private tech, digital media and telecoms companies with the fastest-growing sales.

The majority of Alternative Airlines’ bookings come from international customers; in 2018, international visitors to the site increased by 105% and received bookings from customers in 130 different countries.

The Tech Track 100 award comes as Alternative Airlines continues to take innovative strides in its service provision. The website’s experienced customer service team, which currently provides customer support between 8am and 8pm BST, is also set to open from 8am to 12pm BST, for the convenience of international customers.
