
Six Senses Loire Valley, France will be opened in 2022 in the village of Saint-Laurent-Nouan and will be located in the UNESCO World Heritage region which is known for historic chateaux, medieval towns, wines, food and unspoiled landscapes.
The resort is placed withing the Les Bordes Estate, a 1,400-acre site in the Sologne forest, home to Les Bordes Golf Club. It is developed to embrace the environmental and community values.
There will be equestrian and tennis centres, an organic farm, art gallery, petting farm, natural swimming lake with beach, water sports, biking and walking trails.
The new 18-hole Gil Hanse-designed par three golf course and a new state-of-the –art golf practice facility will allow guests an access.
There is a beautifully preserved chateau surrounded by manicured lawns with sculptures and water features designed to enhance the personal reconnection.
There will be 88 guest suites and villas clustered in the woodland landscape and built alongside streams and waterways.
There will also be 70 residential villas for private ownership, with the opportunity to include them within the resort’s inventory. Villa owners will enjoy access to all the amenities and facilities the resort offers.
The château is also home to an elegant restaurant and bar, event spaces and function lawns.
There will an extensive menu of signature specilaities in the Six Senses Spa, a medicinal garden where plants and herbs will be grown for usage in locally-inspired treatments and Alchemy Bar workshops.
There is a main organic kitchen garden and Earth Lab allowing the guests to gather knowledge about the resort’s conservation initiatives.
There will be several dining options and the central chateau will be featuring an all-day restaurant and lounge bar that reflects the traditions of region in taste and style.
