Aerolineas Argentinas will carry Argentinean travelers to Orlando, as the carrier is starting this December a new seasonal non-stop flight between Buenos Aires’ Ezeiza International Airport and Orlando International Airport.

Argentinean travelers will be enjoying Orlando’s theme parks while Central Floridians tango their way around Buenos Aires, the most visited city in South America.

“The arrival of Aerolineas Argentinas allows us to better serve travelers looking to come to Orlando with the easy, nonstop flight they have long been hoping for,” said Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Orlando International Airport. “This exciting new service also creates a link between Central Florida and a critical South American market which the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has actively pursued.”

The seasonal service will connect the most-visited destination in the United States with Argentina’s capital city when service begins December 9, 2019. Aerolineas Argentinas will offer thrice-weekly flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays through March 21, 2020.

“It’s nothing but good news for Central Florida to gain another direct connection to an exciting destination like Buenos Aires,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. “This new service will further strengthen our worldleading tourism industry and give us more opportunities to showcase Orlando as a great place to live, work and visit.”

This new nonstop flight will serve as the direct link between some of the world’s top theme park attractions and a country known for its rich culture, cuisine and wine and the birthplace of the tango.

“The opening of this new international route is a strategic calculation that Aerolineas Argentina has made in their constant quest to generate more revenue and optimize its operation,” said Luis Malvido, President of Aerolineas Group. “We are focusing all of our efforts in identifying passengers’ preferences and satisfying them with a quality product”.

The new service is expected to generate an estimated $24 million in economic impact to the Central Florida region.

The flights will be operated aboard Airbus 330-200 in two-class configuration with 270 seating capacity.
