Everyone that uses air travel has their own favourite airlines, as well as the airlines that they try to avoid at all costs. But which companies are the most loved and hated? Which most reliably provide a satisfactory experience?
In answer to these questions, US Packaging & Wrapping have just released a . Thousands of customer reviews were collated and illustrated, showing the words most commonly used to describe the most popular airline companies.
The data yielded some intriguing results. For instance, United Airlines have endured some bad publicity from the media this year and, as the piece shows, many of the airline’s customers aren’t too happy with them either: 34% of United’s top terms were negative (the highest percentage in the study).
Some intriguing results:
- The airline with the highest percentage of positive words was Emirates at 73%
- The airline that fared the worst was United with 43% positive terms
- easyJet did poorly - already better known for low prices than high quality, the airline also saw a high rate of words like ‘delay’ and ‘late’.
