From January-November 2018, Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport welcomed 16,849,580 passengers, which is 12% more than in the same period of 2017. The number of passengers on domestic flights grew by 10.2% to 10,146,112 passengers. International traffic increased by 14.8% and amounted to 6,703,468 passengers.
 
In the eleven months of 2018, Pulkovo Airport handled 152,690 take-off and landing operations, which is an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. The maximum take-off weight handled at LED amounted to 5,468,793 tons, 10.9% more than in the same period of 2017.

In the eleven months of 2018, Rossiya Airlines, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Pobeda and Ural Airlines were the largest Russian carriers in terms of passenger numbers at Pulkovo. In total, they provided services to 9,965,865 passengers at St. Petersburg Airport or 59% of the total traffic for that period.
 
Among foreign airlines, Lufthansa, Belavia, Uzbekistan Airways, Turkish Airlines, and KLM became the leaders at St. Petersburg Airport for the 11-month period of 2018. In total, they handled 1,174,751 passengers at Pulkovo or 7% of the airport traffic.

Pulkovo Airport operational results for November 2018
In November 2018, 1,286,686 passengers traveled through Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport, a number 18.1% higher than in the same month of 2017.
 
Domestic traffic increased by 18.3% to 877,884 passengers compared to the same period of 2017. International traffic grew by 17.5% year-on-year and amounted to 408,802 passengers.
 
In November 2018, Pulkovo Airport handled 12,562 take-off and landing operations, which is an increase of 12.5% to the level of November 2017. The maximum take-off weight handled amounted to 429,995 tons, a figure 17.3% higher than in the same period of 2017.

In November 2018, Rossiya Airlines, Aeroflot, Pobeda, S7 Airlines, and Ural Airlines were the largest Russian carriers in terms of passenger numbers at Pulkovo. In total, they provided services to 814,198 passengers or 63.3% of the total traffic at St. Petersburg Airport for that period. Among foreign airlines, the leaders were Uzbekistan Airways, Lufthansa, Belavia, Finnair, and Emirates. In total, they handled 95,067 passengers at Pulkovo or 7.4% of the airport traffic for November 2018.
 
Pulkovo Airport and Qatar Airways celebrate one year of Doha – St. Petersburg service
Pulkovo Airport and Qatar Airways are celebrating one year of direct scheduled service from Doha to St. Petersburg. Since the launch of flights on December 19, 2017, the carrier has transported over 65,000 passengers between the two cities.
 
Evgeniy Ilyin, Chief Commercial Officer of Pulkovo International Airport operator Northern Capital Gateway LLC, noted: “A year ago Pulkovo Airport welcomed one of the world’s leading airlines Qatar Airways among its clients.
