Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has this week been shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious ‘Wave Awards 2019’, to be held in London in March 2019, well as in the running for two guest-voted accolades.
Fred. Olsen is vying for the hotly-contested ‘Best Ocean Cruise Line’ award, along with ‘Best Specialist Cruise Line’, and ‘Best for Solo Travellers’. In addition, Fred. Olsen is also hoping to steal the ‘Favourite Ocean Cruise Line’ title, as well as ‘Favourite River Cruise Line’, for Fred. Olsen River Cruises’ new European river cruise ship Brabant – awards voted for entirely by the public.
Fred. Olsen triumphed in last year’s ‘Wave Awards’, hosted by Real Response Media’s ‘World of Cruising’ magazine, securing its inaugural ‘Best for Solo Travellers’ accolade.
The ‘Wave Awards 2019’ shortlist has been announced just a week after Fred. Olsen was named winner of the ‘Best for Itineraries’ award in Cruise Critic’s ‘UK Editors’ Picks Awards 2018’, for the fourth year running, as well as ‘Best for Shore Excursions’ for the first time.

The winners of the ‘Wave Awards 2019’ ‘Best Ocean Cruise Line’, ‘Best Specialist Cruise Line’ and ‘Best for Solo Travellers’ categories will be decided by Real Response Media’s team of knowledgeable industry experts.
The winners of all categories will be announced at a prestigious gala dinner at London’s De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on 7th March 2019.
