The Automobile Association of Tanzania has partnered with Tanzania Tourism Board to initiate sports tourism program which targets at growing tourist number to the country.
Mr. Yusuf Ghor, AAT chief executive state that the program will happen next year in February and they’re all set to endorse the natural attractions to their 80 million Federation of International Automobile fans.
Mr. Ghor explains that the AAT and Fia are working closely in various sectors like road safety which has benefited the teachers and pupil of Tanzania till now. According to him, their job is to endorse all tourism attractions to the members in Europe, America and other continents, highlighting that they were confidenet in meeting their targets.
To quote Ghor, “we normally communicate with the members through FIA, which owns a website and other online outlets. We have decided to expand our daily activities apart from motor sports. Our target is to work with various tourist operators in both Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.”
