A launched by Mandarin Oriental, Geneva has launched an accommodation package, Swiss Winter Fun, which offers guests luxurious accommodation and breakfast for two, a dog sled ride in the beautiful Jura Mountains, an authentic Swiss fondue dinner and other Swiss treats.
Guests booking the Swiss Winter Fun package can thrill at driving a husky-drawn sled through the snow-covered pine trees of the Jura Mountains near Geneva, guided by a musher, or sit back and enjoy the ride and clean mountain air, leaving the musher to take charge of the reins.
Back at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva’s wooden Alpine-style pop-up restaurant, Le Chalet, guests can indulge in a traditional Swiss fondue dinner in the cosy and inviting atmosphere. This year’s specials include fondue with truffle tapenade served with steamed potatoes, fondue with wild garlic, and a savoury chocolate fondue.
Available until 18 January 2019, the Swiss Winter Fun offer is available for a minimum two-night stay at CHF 839 per night. It includes:
- Two-night stay in a luxurious room or suite (double occupancy)
- A one-hour, five-kilometre husky-drawn sled ride
- Authentic two-course Swiss fondue dinner for two at Le Chalet
- Buffet breakfast for two at the hotel restaurant or continental breakfast in the privacy of guest’s room
- Swiss welcome treats
