Heathrow saw around 262,000 passengers on July 29th , considered as the busiest day ever.
With more than a quarter of million passengers commuting through the airport on 19 different days in the month there was an unprecedented peak.
The Heathrow Airport saw more than 7.8 million passengers travelling through its last month showing an increase of 3.7 per cent from last year.
The North America route had a growth of 8.1 per cent with a total of 1.8 million passengers taking off and was driven by larger, fuller aircraft.
Heathrow chief executive, John Holland-Kaye was happy to see even more international visitors coming to the UK and helping in the country’s economy.
But there is a concern in regard to immigration and the Home Office should allow visitors from low risks countries like the U.S. to opt for the same e-gates as EU visitors.
