Korea’s signature low-cost airline Jin Air launched the largest online special promotion of the year, the “JIN MARKET 2nd Half 2018”, on July 2.
JIN MARKET is the biggest special price promotion offered by Jin Air and introduces the concept of department store regular sales for the first time in the aviation industry. The market offers a variety of special deals along with special price airfares at the lowest prices of the year.
JIN MARKET 2018 will be open for 7 days, from 10:00 KST on July 2 until 24:00 KST July 8, on the homepage, mobile webpage, and mobile app. Additional seats are scheduled to become available on each route for customers who missed the first day of reservations. Additional seats will open for routes in the order of: Northeast Asia (7/3), Southeast Asia (7/4), and the Americas and Oceania (7/5). This year’s JIN MARKET will be open for 27 routes traveling between October 28 and March 30, 2019. The market will be closed on designated days such as New Year’s Day.
Unlike other airline special discount tickets, passengers can take advantage of the basic service benefits offered by Jin Air’s special discount tickets, including in-flight meals and free baggage allowances at no extra cost.
Moreover, there will be a quiz game event accessible on the Jin Air mobile webpage starting at 22:00 KST on July 3 until 24:00 KST on July 8 . Participants who earn the highest score for the three quizzes will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win complimentary flight ticket to Korea. The raffle will take place on July 16 and the winner will be announced on the bulletin board system.
In a statement, Jin Air said “considering the free basic baggage allowance and in-flight meal, JIN MARKET’s special discount tickets will turn out to be the most rational choice for customers traveling to Korea,” later continuing “we hope that customers will take advantage of the benefits we have prepared in celebration of the 10th anniversary of our founding and operation.”
Established in January 2008 and celebrating the 10th anniversary of its founding, Korea’s representative low-cost airline Jin Air currently operates 37 routes and offers tickets at reasonable prices in an effort to provide high quality services.
