NEW YORK - Meredith Corporation's Travel + Leisure announces the World's Best Awards 2018, revealing the top travel destinations and companies in the U.S. and around the globe. Results of this 23rd annual readers' survey, in which discerning Travel + Leisure readers rated their experiences, are now featured on TravelandLeisure.com/worlds-best and span 86 category lists, including worldwide rankings, such as Top Cities Overall, with San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; Oaxaca, Mexico; and Udaipur, India, ranking one through three; and regional lists, such as Top Resort Hotels in the Continental U.S., with The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, taking the No. 1 spot, followed by The Lodge and Spa at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, and Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont.
As part of this franchise, Travel + Leisure is launching 11 original videos, including three on-location mini-documentaries covering the Best International Airport, Best Island in the Caribbean, and Best Island Overall, and social promotions for select cities on the list. The Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards is a leading barometer of the places and companies that satisfy some of the most passionate and sophisticated travelers.
