Hungarian producer Mariann Peller will be the godmother of Crystal Ravel, the company’s fourth new Rhine Class ship.
Peller is known for the hit Hungarian television show Virtuosos, the world’s first classical music talent show.
During a traditional ceremony the Crystal Ravel will be christened in Budapest on Wednesday, July 11. Peller will be blessing on the same day and a performance by the talented Yopung Virtuosos artists.
Crystal president, Tom Wolber was delighted to welcome Mariann Peller to the Crystal Family. Considering her passion for classical arts in her home country and around the world will be an ideal match for the Crystal River Experience.
He was pleased to welcome the young performers of Virtuosos to the celebration and see exceptional talents to the region’s classical musicians to their guests.
Peller contributes to the Young Virtuosos Foundation where she supports young classical musicians and supports the preservation and education of region’s musical heritage.
To support the ongoing work Crystal will be donating to the Young Virtuosos Foundation.
