Palais Bad Ragaz is now a member of the Relais & Châteaux portfolio, the only part of Grand Resort Bad Ragaz to do so.
Small but exquisite. “Palais Bad Ragaz is a separate entity among all the buildings making up Grand Resort Bad Ragaz”, says General Manager Marco R. Zanolari. And rightly so. The rest is part of the “Leading Hotels of the World” – a very conscious decision.
The Palais is a hotel in its own right - with separate entrance, reception and two restaurants. It is a listed building and was stylishly and traditionally restored in 2009. Great care and attention was taken to retain the building’s stylistic elements and the rooms were decorated in princely fashion in warm tones and noble fabrics. One of the most important acceptance criteria for membership of the renowned Relais & Châteaux organisation is the wealth and variety of cuisine. Both of which can be enjoyed by connoisseurs in two restaurants: in the “Zollstube” with its traditional Swiss cuisine offered daily by the hosts, the Klotzes, and the Fine Dining cuisine in “IGNIV by Andreas Caminada”, where guests can expect astounding taste experiences. And that is what counts for Relais & Châteaux when considering its members: passionate hosts and first class chefs running the businesses in their 550 plus unique and independent hotels and restaurants throughout the world.
Palais Bad Ragaz
Palais Bad Ragaz is an amazing experience for all its guests who adore anything historical and would love to stay in such a small historical treasure. Despite all the tradition, no one has to do without modern technology in the richly appointed rooms: fast broadband, flat screen TV and MP3 connection are all standard. In addition, guests can take advantage of the whole infrastructure of the neighbouring Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. And just like the other hotels, Palais Bad Ragaz is an ideal base for relaxing days spent in the 36.5° thermal water of the Tamina Therme – or all sorts of other activities in the mountains and on the lakes surrounding the hotel.
A weekend at the Palais Bad Ragaz starts from 900 Swiss Francs including breakfast (two nights in one room for two guests).
