Recently, the Tourist Board of Dubrovnik won ‘’Golden Tourism Heart of the Mediterranean and South-Eastern Europe’’ award, with the title of champion of culture tourism. On Saturday, May 5th, the award was distributed at Skadarlija in Belgrade by Sinisa Zakula, Head of Promotion Department and Online Strategy of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. The award was given by Ljubica Milojevic, delegate of the World Trade Organization.
The International Center for Tourism Development Sacen International and the International Tourism Association visited and reviewed other countries besides Croatia like France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Tunisia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and others.
Every country held press conferences at the end of the visit on which the ratings and the results of the summer and winter tourist season were presented in 2017.
