UK’s one of the fastest transportation sector, London Underground has a drop of its users. It is for the first time, happened in 20 years, as the recent terror attacks in London, the capital and the cultural city of UK deter the passengers from making the easy trip in the tube.

Not only the terror attack, but also the growing use of online video streaming app and the food delivery app, Netflix and Deliveroo have dissuaded the use of London Underground, as people increasingly get food delivered and watch films at home rather than travelling out to restaurants and cinemas.

Transport for London (TfL) figures showed that the number of people using the London Underground has dropped by 2 percent in the year to November 2017, which is amounting to four million fewer people travelling on the Tube.

Not only that, following the financial crash in 2008, the drop in numbers marks the first decrease in more than two decades.

In the year to November 2017, there are about  416.7 million people travelled on the London Underground, compared with 421.2 million the year before.

The passengers on trains coming into London have seen an even larger decrease. The number of people using Govia Thameslink Railway, South West Trains and Southeastern all fell by more than 5 percent in April to June 2017/18, compared to the previous year, as their fares rose.
