Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission of Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), has recently declared the introduction of a media platform in the Kingdom.

Introduced in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Information, the platform targets to support the innovators to in order to make the most of positive content, improved films and programs related to national heritage and tourism that talk about the unique lifestyle in the Kingdom in terms of originality and diversity of the regions at the same time sticking to its values.
Also, the SCTH chief made public the new TV channel launch in full partnership with the Saudi Broadcasting Corp. along with other partners to make live on social media the content under the name of “Live Saudi Arabia”.

On Sunday, the new media platform will be introduced on an experimental basis. It’s expected to benefit from the huge arrival of citizens and students through “Live Saudi Arabia” programs and various other tourist e-gates. In addition, live transmission from various Kingdom sites will be focused that will allow citizens to network with their country in a new way, he explained. The platform will cover all functions managed by the SCTH or any other parties.
“We are currently running a mega-system of projects within the SCTH’s initiatives in the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020, which found the SCTH ready with its initiatives and projects,” he said.

The SCTH chief stated that citizens want their country to be the first option in terms of tourist destinations.
