Mohammed Al Malaheem, 64 has his old Volkswagen Beetle which is not functioning. So he made it a hotel room marking the best and unique in Jordan and claiming as the world’s smallest hotel.

This smallest hotel is located in the village of Jordan and the owner of this hotel is trying hard to improve the situation of the village by making this initiative.

The guests need to pay around $75 (40 Jordanian dinars) to stay in this car, which opened its doors for business in 2011.

Officially, Eh’hausl hotel in Amberg, Germany is noted as the world’s smallest hotel. This is extremely idiosyncratic, because the hotel is in fact a stripped-out old Volkswagen Beetle that rests on piles of stones.

The car is furnished by his daughter and the repurposed car is ornamented with handmade embroidered sheets and pillows which are decorated with traditional patterns and embellished with colorful beads.  The hotel owner also serves the Jordon’s traditional meals to anyone who wants to stay there. Mohammed Al Malaheem and his daughter also run a kiosk near the hotel selling souvenirs such as antiques, jewellery, gemstones, copper miniatures and historical artifacts, which hotel guests can purchase at the end of their visit.
