On December 7, Mideast received one more distinction for 2017 as one of the “Best Performing Companies” during the “Treasures of Greek Tourism” ceremony that took place in King George Hotel Athens.
This newly established institution awarded the healthiest developing businesses and agencies in Greece’s tourism industry based on specific economic indicators and business initiatives, while taking also into account factors such as their policies in human resources and their corporate social responsibility.
Mr. Stelios Dimitriou, Mideast Commercial Director, devoted the award to the people of Mideast stating: “Mideast serves and caters for the human-traveler – business or leisure – based on a very different approach than the common B2B or B2C ones; we call it H2H (Human to Human). This delicate point of difference is what distinguishes Mideast in the travel sector. It is this emphasis in the human factor that has granted Mideast its credibility and good fame in the market, virtues that are so difficult to get”. Mr Dimitriou invited all the winners to work jointly for the improvement and development of Greece’s tourism offering: “We are blessed to have an excellent product in our hands and it is on us to mold it in the best possible way».
