Norwegian Cruise Line has opened Norwegian Jewel‘s 2018/2019 Australia an New Zealand cruises for booking. Following a large refurbishment, the ship will spend a second season down under, cruising the best of Australia and New Zealand, as well as itineraries in the south Pacific, southeast Asia, and a transpacific from Vancouver to Tokyo.
In October 2018, Norwegian Jewel will undergo a three week dry dock in Singapore, and emerge a nearly new ship for her Australian season. Highlights for the season will include a 19-day transpacific journey from Vancouver to Tokyo; a 19-day voyage to Australia from Singapore with stops in Bali and Komodo Island; a new 13-day south Pacific itinerary, and – back by popular demand – a series of sailings and and around Australia and New Zealand.
The ship boasts 15 dining options as well as 15 bars and lounges, and world-class entertainment including acrobatics and cirque-type shows. The sports complex offers basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, and tennis, and kids will enjoy the designated kid’s pool and the Splash Academy youth program.
Accommodations range from interior cabins to balcony rooms, as well as interconnecting rooms and multiple-bedroom suites for families. The Haven aboard the ship holds the most luxurious suites and villas, a private courtyard, whirlpools, a private deck and concierge services.
