China Airlines has decided to introduce a brand new non-stop service from London Gatwick to Taoyuan International of Taipei from 1st December 2017.
This new service would be operational four times every week from Gatwick’s South Terminal with a flight time of just over 13 hours aboard China Airlines’ Airbus A350-900.
The airplane can carry up to 306 passengers with a three-class configuration comprising a premium economy option.
Toger Han, senior vice president, Europe, China Airlines mentioned that they are excited to be returning to the United Kingdom this year thereby making travel between Taiwan and the UK quite convenient and accessible.
By providing the only non-stop flight service between these two nations they are certain about being able to welcome travellers who might not consider Taiwan as their first outbound destination previously. He further stated that their route launch marks a beautiful array of destinations all across Asia on onward to Australia for British tourists to relish.
The Airbus A350 had proven to be a lovely airplane, favored among travellers.
This route launch marks a first for the national flag carrier of Taiwan in setting up a base at London Gatwick Airport.
Previously the airline had operated a route between London Heathrow and Taipei in 2010 to 2012 and has also operated a service to Amsterdam with a connection to London via a codeshare with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
