3 August 2017, Kuala Lumpur… The seventh edition of the World Luxury Spa Awards was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, attended by key personnel of the hospitality, spa and wellness industries. Brands and properties were nominated after going through a thorough process of evaluation and audits following consultation, inputs and views of experts and industry leaders with long standing experience and distinction.
Mandara Spa at The H Dubai, United Arab Emirates, received the top honor, winning the Global Award for Best Luxury Urban Escape Spa, and was a nominee in the category of Best Luxury Hotel Spa. The spa aims to continually enhance its range of treatments and services, and plans to launch a new product line and introduce new facilities and equipment in the near future.
Mandara Spa at Lotte Hotel Moscow received the Country Award for Best Luxury Hotel Spa – Russia, and Tamara Spa by Mandara at Lily Beach Resort & Spa, Maldives, won the Indian Ocean Continent Award for Best Luxury Island Resort Spa.
The World Luxury Spa Awards give recognition to luxury spas in 32 different categories on a country, regional, continent and global basis, with voting based on service excellence and cast by spa guests. The Awards aim to encourage and raise service standards within the luxury spa industry, setting benchmarks in quality innovation and service.
