The Kulm Country Club, Switzerland at the legendary Kulm Hotel St. Moritz is now offering to hold the business meetings, small conferences and the events.
All set within the hotel’s extensive grounds, this new venue is now available in the midst of privacy and tranquility to groups of varying sizes.
The Orangerie at the Kulm Country Club is best suited for private dinners and high-level board meetings (thanks to discreet IT and projection facilities) of no more than 12 people, while the main restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 40 for a sit down dinner. If the entire building is hired (restaurant, private dining room and bar), the Kulm Country Club can host up to 150 people for a cocktail reception and buffet.
Kulm Country Club was the official base for the Winter Olympic game from 1928 to 1948. But by the 1980s it had ceased to be used and fell into disrepair. A synthesis of Art Nouveau and traditional Swiss style, the building is protected and the renovation has been done to form into a luxurious hotel.
However, the modern technologies and equipment, such as a new kitchen and a single core with lifts, food hoists and a second set of stairs, have been introduced to enhance the performance of the building and make it more accessible. On the first floor, the Kulm Country Club has a wood-panelled restaurant with floor to ceiling picture windows and the private dining room, both of which have access to a large sun terrace and overlook the tennis courts in summer/ice rink in winter. On the ground floor, there is a lounge and bar area, with another terrace.
Located at an altitude of 1800m, Kulm Country Club is famous for its sunny climate, awe-inspiring panoramic vistas, and the seemingly endless expanse of the lake-strewn valley of the Engadine and the exceptional quality of the light, perfect for brainstorming or getting outdoors as a team, dependent on the needs of the group.
