Luxury leisure travelers prefer chartering jets

GlobeAir privatejet leisure

GlobeAir, the leading air taxi operator in Europe, says growth in the luxury holiday market has resulted in an increase in demand for private aviation. The company estimates that around 67% of the flights it operates today are for ‘leisure’ purposes, and corresponding figures in 2016 and 2015 are around 62% and 59% respectively. Here are the top luxury ‘holiday’ destinations this Summer:
GlobeAir is reporting a growing interest from clients who are chartering its jets to the Côte d’Azur, in particular to St.Tropez, followed by Cannes and Nice. The second most popular destination is Ibiza, in the Balearic Islands, which is attracting the air taxi traffic for the third years in a row, and finally Olbia, in Sardinia, that grew by 165% after a few years of decrease

To meet the most demanding customers’ expectations, the company offers a wide range of bespoke services including ground transportations, helicopter transfers, luxury accommodations, exclusive experiences, tailored tours, business meeting coordination and cargo flights.
GlobeAir’s fleet of Citation Mustang jets is able to connect to more than 1,500 airports around Europe, including those with a short runway not accessible to commercial airlines. Travelers appreciate the advantages of being able to cover multiple business destinations in the same day, with a flexible departure time according to their own schedule.
