The American technology entrepreneur Jeff Bezos is all braced up to offer the masses a golden opportunity to ride inside his unique space firm Blue Origin’s capsule with an aim to enable them to tide into orbit.
The Blue Origin, currently is part of a battle with his rivals, namely Virgin Galactic of Richard Branson and SpaceX of Elon Musk for offering tourism flights to orbit.
The first exhibit of Blue Origin would be displaying a 1:1 mockup of the astronaut crew capsule of New Shepard that is enriched with a seating capacity for six people and guests would also be capable of climbing inside and relax in flight-ready seats, before they can get to experience a simulated flight to space that was designed with real mission footage from the on board cameras of New Shepard.
This crew capsule displays the largest windows ever in the history of spaceflights taking up over one-third of the surface area of the capsule offering stellar views to every astronaut during the flight.
Rob Meyerson who is the president of Blue Origin said that they are quite excited to come to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017 and show their reusable New Shepard rocket and crew capsule so that the space tourists would be able to get a taste of what it feels like to be an astronaut.
This exhibit is expected to be over within the week of 24th to 30th July during the Experimental Aircraft Association’s 65th annual fly-in convention at Wittman Regional Airport in the region of Oshkosh.
