RENTON, WA—The Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport has opened, marking the brand’s third Seattle-area hotel.
The new 12-story hotel is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Washington here, among a natural setting with views of the Olympic Mountains and the Seattle skyline. It is also accessible to the neighboring beaches and wooded trails of Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
Property highlights include 347 guestrooms, 60,000-sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, all designed with Feng Shui principles to balance the interiors with surrounding water, forests, mountains and sky.
Among the amenities are Asian-inspired Northwest fine dining at Water’s Table, a lakeside kitchen and bar, and health and wellness offerings such as a 24-hour StayFit gym, dedicated yoga room, an indoor saline pool, and an on-site, full-service spa with three treatment rooms.
“Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is a significant addition to the Hyatt portfolio, and we are thrilled to unveil it today alongside the SECO Development team and the community of Renton,” said Pete Sears, Hyatt group president, Americas. “As the Hyatt Regency brand celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, we are proud to open this hotel, which has been designed to foster true human connections and serve as a dynamic, energizing space where guests can collaborate, share and find inspiration.”
