He went on to add the arrival of 120,000 people to this part of the world was 18 million euros amounting to approximately $20.5 million.

The tourism body head has been expecting that as much as 300,000 people would be experiencing hot-air balloon tours by the end of this year that would be witnessing a revenue of nearly 40 million euros or $45.6 million. He stated that after a bad year of tourism in Turkey that was impacted by many terror attacks and also a deadly coup attempt in 2016, the tourism sector started undergoing a steady recovery process this year.

He also mentioned that there has been a slight increase in the number of international tourists as compared to that last year.

According to Dinler, there were 25 hot air balloon agencies in Cappadocia that offer job facilities for 2,500 people. He also asserted that the hot-air balloon tour price in Cappadocia was not as high as it had been calculated. The foreign tourists, especially the ones belonging to the Far-East nations feel that the price of hot-air balloons is quite affordable.

Cappadocia, in Turkey’s Anatolian region, is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

And, it is also renowned for its chimney rocks. Underground cities, hot air balloon trips as well as boutique hotels carved into rocks. To obtain an authentic experience, tourists from all across the world prefer getting a taste of the unique landscapes of Cappadocia and its peak-like houses. The price of the hot-air balloons would be kept strictly under control and would greatly contribute to the economy of the region.

The hot air balloons would also be tracked by a GPS system, thereby allowing the speed limit and distance of the air balloons to be detected.

Turkish Airlines, the national air carrier of Turkey or THY provide daily flights to the region of Cappadocia from Istanbul.
