More than 50,000 people make the trip to the Brisbane Showgrounds from today, for the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow. Lovers of the great outdoors will be in heaven, with more than 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest in caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, slide-ons and camping accessories, over almost 45,000sqm of space.
The six day Supershow also features seminars on topics such as tips for towing safely and preparing to travel, cooking demonstrations over a campfire and a kids zone.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said the state’s largest caravanning and camping event had been rolling into the Showgrounds for almost four decades.
“We’ve had a long association with the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow and we’re proud that 39 consecutive shows have been held at our iconic venue,” he said.
“Queenslanders love the Supershow and it’s the second largest event to be held at the Showgrounds each year, behind the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) which is just 65 days away.”
The Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow runs until Monday 12 June.
