Sudan’s Minister of Tourism, Antiquities and Wildlife, Dr. Mohammed Abu Zaid Mustafa, lauded the important role played by Qatar in global peace through its international endeavors that aimed at ending conflicts, advocating non-violence and resolving conflicts through peaceful means. He said that this policy is praised globally, placing Qatar among leading countries establishing global peace and security.
Doha is a beacon for peace since it has hosted a lot of events and regional and international conferences to initiate peace and made pioneering contribution in the Arab reunion and Islamic unity by overcoming challenges and obstacles from crises, conflicts and disputes.
Dr. Mohammed said that Doha stood with Khartoum in the most difficult times and the Qatari government was the first one in the world to break the blockade imposed on Sudan and dealt with it despite the difficulties and risks. He said that Khartoum has greatly benefited from Qatar’s efforts at regional and international levels.
