Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, Carnival Vista has been named Best Cruise Ship for Families in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The awards are based on nominations from a team of cruise industry experts and the winners were determined by an online vote from USA Today readers.
The ship features fun, family-friendly features such as Family Harbor staterooms, a bike ride type attraction in the sky called SkyRide, the first IMAX theater at sea, and a 455-foot long Kaleid-o-Slide waterslide. Other entertainment options include the Punchliner Comedy Club, Hasbro, The Game Show, the Seuss at Sea program, and a Build-a-Bear Workshop at sea.
Adults have their own spaces as well, like the Serenity adults-only area, Havana staterooms, Cloud 9 Spa, and a Cuban-inspired bar. Carnival Vista debuted in Europe earlier this year, and then headed to Miami last month to launch service year-round to the Caribbean.
