MIAMI BEACH, FL—Menin Hospitality has entered into an agreement to manage the Shelborne South Beach here. Originally constructed in 1940, the 200-room hotel recently underwent a $150-million renovation. Located in the heart of South Beach’s Art Deco District, the property has a full-service spa, as well as multiple leisure and entertainment venues.
Along with the recently added Mondrian South Beach, Shelborne South Beach joins Menin Hospitality’s portfolio of nearly 1,000 guestrooms under its management.
Other Menin Hospitality hotels include The Gale, Kaskades, Bentley and Sanctuary in South Beach as well as the Rafaello Chicago. The group’s restaurant and nightlife portfolio includes Radio Bar, Bodega Taquería Y Tequila, Pizza Bar, Halves & Wholes, Picciolo, Ricky’s and Drumbar in Chicago, as well as Bakehouse, a French brasserie marketplace and cafe, set to open later this year.

Menin and Jared Galbut, managing principal of Menin Hospitality, both worked at Shelborne South Beach when they were first learning the hospitality business.
