ROCKVILLE, MD—Choice Hotels International, Inc. has converted the former MileNorth Hotel in Chicago into the Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile. The partnership with Fillmore Capital Partners and Fillmore Hospitality marks the brand's first official conversion as part of a strategy to bring hotels to market quickly based on strong consumer demand.
Located at 166 East Superior St., the 215-room and 29-story Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile sits between the city’s Magnificent Mile and Lake Michigan. The hotel features one of the highest rooftop lounges in the city, 52Eighty, as well as nearly 4,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, according to the brand. Nearby attractions include Millennium Park, the John Hancock Center, Skydeck Chicago and the Chicago Riverwalk.

The hotel is one of two Cambria Hotels & Suites that will open in the city. The Chicago – City Center property will be located above the historic Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre at 24 West Randolph St., and is slated to open in late 2017.
