Carnival Spirit will stay in Australia for 2018

Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the Carnival Spirit would continue to stay in Sydney for full time in 2018.

This cruise lines company has declared that it would not spend the summer in China, as it had planned earlier during this year. However, the cruise liner would go back to Australia following her scheduled drylock in May 2018 in Singapore, as per the statement.

Jennifer Vandekreeke, vice president Australia, Carnival Cruise Line said that they had decided to continue staying in Australia due to the popularity of the operations of the cruise line in Australia.

Vandekreeke said that the Australian travel agents and guests have started enjoying the fun associated with a Carnival cruise.

She also said that recently the cruise liner has welcomed its 5,00,000th cruise passenger on her local ships. In addition, there also have been advance bookings for the winter of 2017. Therefore, it has been decided to retain Carnival Spirit in Australia through 2018.

According to the new program, the cruise liner has decided to employ 35 new cruises to and from Australia between the period of April and December 2018. The program would commence from 4th November, 2016.

Vandekreeke said that Carnival Spirit would offer two new cruises that would operate for 19 nights between Sydney and Singapore.

Carnival Legend would return to Australia in October 2018for her summer season programs in Australia.

Apart from that, Carnival Legend would provide three more cruises from the Victorian capital in November 2018. These programs would consist of a 10-night cruise to New Zealand, a four-night cruise to Sydney via Hobart and a three-night short break.
