Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) Mediterranean has decided to implement the International Press Award since that it is considered that providing of information and the raising of awareness on aviation issues is an important element in the enhancement of aviation safety.
The selection committee has decided to award it to ATN and to its Managing Director, Dr Kostas Iatrou for his contribution to European Aviation.
Dr Iatrou accepting the award from Mr Michael Konstantinides, Honorary Chairman of FSF Mediterranean said that safety remain the most important element of aviation and that this award. He added that ATN over the last 10 years provide accurate information 24/7 for the aviation industry.
