The 25th AVSEC (Aviation Security) World Conference on 25 - 27, October 2016 will take place at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted by IATA, Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Program
This year’s AVSEC conference, titled "Evolving risks, integrated solutions," takes place against a backdrop of recent terrorist attacks that have reinforced the hard fact that aviation and air travel are an attractive target for terrorists.
The conference brings together security experts, aviation leaders and key government representatives to discuss ways in which the industry is meeting the challenges of terrorism and other security threats such as cyber-attacks. Crucial issues such as radicalization, incident response, communicating in a crisis and approaches to landside security will be addressed.
