Summer will finally reach England as a small heat wave is about to hit the south of Britain during the mid July. Although the southern part will rejoice the heat in this upcoming weekend, but the west and the north of the United Kingdom will miss it out.
Central part of Britain may receive a line of showers on Saturday, 16th July. Northern part of the country will still have to endure a temperature of 17C in Manchester, 15C to 16C near Glasgow, and 18C in Newcastle. The south will be soaking in the 24C sun rays.
London is about to enjoy a temperature of almost 28C by Tuesday 19th July. Manchester and Newcastle will receive a temperature of up to 26C and 23C respectively.
The spokesman of the Met Office, Grahame Madge has informed, “North of that line conditions will be a bit fresher but south of that line that rain band is trying to bump into the humid air that we’ve got across the UK at the moment and that will mean there will be a bit of a contrast between northern Britain and southern England as we hang onto that air.”
It has been stated that from Wednesday 20th July, the weather will start to get more humid than before. Southern and western region can receive rainfalls.
Madge has also informed that southern countries closer to the English Channel could receive ‘quite intense rainfall’.
