Aerotrain services at the KL International Airport (KLIA) have resumed its operations today (may 28) after it was halted on Friday (May 27) due to corrective maintenance.
The services of an automated people mover that transports passengers between the main terminal to the satellite buildings .
Airport operator Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), in a posting on its social media page Facebook, said both of the aerotrains in KLIA were operating as per normal today.
“We also have 30 transport vehicles including 12 buses on standby to ensure a seamless journey. Thank you to all airport units for being selfless and absolutely fabulous in the last 24 hours. We appreciate all your effort,” it said.
Yesterday, Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai, who regretted the incident, said he had asked MAHB to give a quick report on the KLIA aerotrain services breakdown.
