Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, celebrates the fiveyear anniversary of its very first flight from Vilnius, Lithuania on 16 April 2011. Since then, the airline has achieved strong and consistent growth in the country and carried over three million passengers on it low-fare routes.
Wizz Air is the leading airline at Vilnius International airport and has now four aircraft and 147 Lithuanian-based employees who deliver excellent service on each WIZZ flight. Along with Vilnius, the airline has recently added Kaunas and Palanga to its low-fare route network.
Wizz Air now offers 28 services from three airports to 14 different countries which underlines its commitment to offer low fares and stimulate tourism and aviation industry in Lithuania.
