Works are in full swing at Gardaland Adventure Hotel

Works are in full swing at Gardaland Adventure Hotel and the style of the new hospitality offer of Gardaland Resort is now official, with its opening scheduled for June. Truly mindboggling are the figures of the second great touristic structure of the famous Resort where, between the engineering works, the planning and the operative execution of the 100 themed rooms, nothing was left to chance by a team of highly skilled professionals, who have been working chorally for several months

The structure in itself has considerable dimensions: the total surface area of the brand new Gardaland Adventure Hotel is of 15,000 square meters.

For the mere ideation and the executive planning of the themed rooms over 18,000 hours of work were needed. Without leaving any detail behind, everything was done with extreme care: from the floor to the walls, from the ceiling to the furniture, to the tiniest of accessories.

Four are the different settings, each inspired by a themed area of the Park. It will be a real rush to feel like being among the lianas of the Birmanian forest, discovering temples of old civilisations or, at the end of your day, storing your own treasures in an old explorer chest in the Jungle Adventure room. Or facing the perennial glaciers of the North Pole like a brave, solitary explorer then finding yourself inside a real igloo in the Arctic Adventure room. Or experiencing a “One thousand and one nights” atmosphere in the charming oriental setting of the Arabian Adventure room under the eye of Aladdin, the genie of the lamp. And it won’t just involve children, the whole family will be captured by the Wild West Adventure room, inside which they will enjoy an authentic western atmosphere. They will find themselves thrown inside the sheriff’s jail from where a fugitive has just evaded, leaving behind numerous traces for the most extraordinary of adventures: bent bars, a hole dug inside bricks, the caravan used to run away, the barrels, the lariat and the hat.

Feeling like little or big cowboys, sleeping in a funny prison or experiencing those characteristic saloons within the Wild West Adventure is only one of the many adventures that can be found inside Gardaland Adventure Hotel.

To best recreate the themed settings of Gardaland Adventure Hotel a number of sample rooms were made; day after day the rooms took shape, the emotional details became reality recreating adventurous atmospheres of distant worlds. “The practical production of the rooms involved, first of all, the laying of the walls’ dressing, then the reproduction of the effect depending on the theming” confirms Gianluca Ghedini, Gardaland’s Creative Manager - who then continues: “We needed to model, carve, reproduce, finalise the artwork and install the personalised graphics. We then moved on to the laying of the floor and the installation of furniture, lights and accessories.”

In the specific case of the Wild West Adventure room, due to the peculiarity of the furnishing we let the process be guided by the flair of Gardaland’s Creative Manager who drew lamps and pieces of furniture, which were then tailor made. Examples? The luggage trolley inside each room is made of two real western style barrels while the double bed looks like the typical pioneers’ coach. The decor accessories are typical of the era: cart wheels, horse shoes, real lariats, cowboy hats… even a “wanted” mirror with moustache and fake buffalo skull.

“Gardaland Adventure Hotel promises a truly unique experience and it offers the possibility of living the same atmospheres, emotions and sensations offered inside the most impactful themed rooms of the Park" says Aldo Maria Vigevani, CEO of Gardaland. “We are confident that, with this important investment, our tourist vocation will grow, both on the Italian and on the foreign front especially”.

Conquering, surprising and involving our Guests in a unique and special way, leading them to unparalleled experiences… This is Gardaland’s mission, as we are always very receptive to the needs of our public. This is why Gardaland Adventure Hotel – made of two different pavilions – doesn’t only aim at offering unpredictable adventures, it also decided to… stimulate appetites with a truly special dinner. The rooms won’t be the only things to be themed, indeed the second pavilion will host a very original, fully themed restaurant called Tutankhamon Restaurant, which will allow everyone, even those not staying at the Hotel, to dine among the walls of an ancient Egyptian temple, offering them unusual yet tasty dishes in a fascinating, engaging atmosphere.

Gardaland Resort is getting ready to inaugurate the new season 2016 on the next 24th of March, Easter Thursday.
