Meliá Hotels International to Debut Innside New York NoMad

NEW YORK—Meliá Hotels International (MHI) will debut Innside New York NoMad next month. This will be MHI’s first property here and its first Innside hotel in North America.
The 313-room flagship property will be located on West 27th St. between Sixth and Seventh Aves. In addition to being near to several iconic landmarks and attractions, the hotel will have proximity to several major subway lines.

Amenities will include a signature restaurant concept helmed by a celebrity chef. Art and music will play a large part in the overall dining experience, and the space will be designed to create an interactive and engaging atmosphere, according to the company. A lobby bar will feature a combination of old-fashioned drinks and seasonal handcrafted cocktails.

The hotel’s guestrooms will offer contemporary interiors with natural light through oversized windows. A total of eight suites and three unique terrace suites will feature views of the Empire State Building and New York’s skyline. In-room amenities will include Innside's signature bedside lighting, Nespresso coffee machine, flat-screen TV with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, a complimentary minibar stocked with water, soda and juices and complimentary WiFi access. Bathrooms will feature a rain shower and tub and offer a line of SAMPAR skincare products. A curated neighborhood guide will be available, created by the hotel’s Innsider team.

Innside New York NoMad will feature a Creative Meetings and Events Program. Two creative meetings suites will be outfitted with comfortable lounge furniture, communal tables and seating areas as well as out-of-the-box items like fitness balls and dartboards, designed to inspire collaborative creativity in a relaxed living room setting, according to the company. Technologies like Smart Kapp, a program that has modernized the experience of a dry erase board to allow meeting participants to receive content as its created on the board across multiple devices, will allow for maximized productivity in each room. The suites can seamlessly convert into one flowing event space with the capacity for 70 people.

The hotel will also feature a fitness center with an outdoor terrace.
