WINTER GARDEN, FL—Marriott International, Inc. is slated to open a 248-suite SpringHill Suites and 250-suite TownePlace Suites on the grounds of the Flamingo Crossings Development Complex here, which is located less than a mile from the western entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
The hotels are developed and owned by JL-FX Hotel Development, LLC and managed by Yedla Management Company through its affiliate Revolutionary Road Hospitality Group.
Each property will have 1,500 sq. ft. of meeting space and will share a 4,700-sq.-ft. outdoor swimming pool, 1,700-sq.-ft. fitness center, a coffee bar, a full-service restaurant and pool bar. The hotels will also feature a picnic pavilion, batting cages and a sports practice field.
SpringHill Suites is designed for the leisure and business traveler, while TownePlace Suites is ideal for travelers who need accommodation for longer stays, according to Marriott. TownPlace Suites features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, and separate living and sleeping areas.
