airBaltic to fly between Riga and Reykjavik

The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch a new route between Riga and Reykjavik on May 28, 2016. Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia. A popular tourist destination, Riga was the European Capital of Culture during 2014. The city’s historical center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Reykjavik is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It is the world's northernmost capital of a sovereign state and also a popular tourist destination.
The new route by airBaltic will offer convenient travel between the two cities, and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region.
