Mega Ski Areas and Lots of High Tech - New Features for Winter 15/16

Massive ski area unions and modern cable cars await winter sports fans in the coming winter season. Especially Austria has invested a lot in modernisation and new facilities.
SnowTrex [http://www.snowtrex.co.uk ] gives you an overview of the most important changes in popular ski regions.

The probably most interesting project for the coming winter season is the new connection between the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang and neighbouring
Fieberbrunn.

Thanks to the new lift connection "TirolS", both regions have now merged to become one
of the largest ski area unions in Austria. The fastest 8-person chair lift will be operating in Brixen this winter, transporting customers directly into the SkiWelt Wilder
Kaiser-Brixental.

Further highlights: a trip to Mayrhofen is especially worth it in December, as the season opening weekend is also the event date for the popular "Rise & Fall" festival at the 3S-Penken lift. In the Zillertalarena and in Les 2 Alpes (France) there are new valley
runs opening, and events such as the "Välley Rälley" (Zillertal) or the "Pow(d)er Week"
(Les 2 Alpes) will also be taking place. The modern "Brunn" lift and three new pistes are opening in Kitzbühel, adding to the area's unique quality.
