ILTM AMERICAS 2015 OPENING FORUM PRESENTS TOMORROW’S WORLD OF LUXURY TRAVEL


Almost 600 high end travel advisors and luxury travel suppliers will gather at the Opening Forum of ILTM Americas 2015 in Riviera Maya, Mexico on 28 September to hear leading futurists, urbanists and industry experts reveal ‘tomorrow’s world’ of luxury travel. 
 
Taking place at the Fairmont Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, ILTM Americas is the business to business event brokering quality relationships between an inspirational collection of luxury travel suppliers and handpicked high-end travel agents from across North America.
 
The Opening Forum marks the formal beginning of this fourth edition of ILTM Americas.  Urbanist and futurist Greg Lindsay will begin by suggesting that tomorrow’s tourists will be city dwellers seeking the ultimate luxury: an authentic urban experience.  With cities across the world growing larger, wealthier and better connected at an unprecedented speed and scale, Greg will highlight the opportunities that are emerging for travel operators to create new experiences to cater to this market. 
 
Alex Banayan – reputed to be the world’s youngest venture capitalist and recently named in the Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list – will share his views on what makes some of our more inspirational leaders (such as Bill Gates, Lady Gaga, Warren Buffet etc.) successful and what travel agents can learn from each icon. 
 
‘Building a Business Through Storytelling’, presented by Tom Marchant, co-founder of Black Tomato - one of the world’s leading creators of tailor-made experiential travel for a globally located, discerning client base – will close the event.  Responsible for Black Tomato’s business development, marketing and creative strategies, Tom will use his considerable experience to highlight how engaging content and captivating story-telling can fuel not only customers’ imaginations but the growth of the travel agent business.
 
The business of ILTM Americas will continue over the next 3 days at the Fairmont Riviera with mutually matched pre-scheduled appointments for the 270 hosted luxury travel buyers with 270 elite travel suppliers.
