First Hampton by Hilton Debuts in Bogotá

MCLEAN, VA—Hilton Worldwide has opened the Hampton by Hilton Bogotá—Usaquén, its newest property to join Hampton by Hilton. The 100-room hotel, located at Carrera 7, no. 118-30, is owned and managed by Metro Hotels and it’s the first Hampton by Hilton in the capital of Colombia and the sixth in the country.

"Hampton by Hilton is dedicated to continuing our expansion in Colombia and look forward to introducing additional offerings of consistent accommodations and value-added amenities to this important city," said Phil Cordell, global head, Focused Service and Hampton by Hilton Brand Management, Hilton Worldwide.

Strategically located in the heart of Usaquén, an exclusive neighborhood in northern Bogota, the hotel is close to the city's business district and a short walk from several shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment. It is also 40 minutes from International El Dorado Airport, while nearby attractions include the Monserrate Mountain and the Gold Museum.

"We look forward to welcoming guests to the history and modernity of Bogota at our new Hampton by Hilton," said GM William Fonseca. "With an array of amenities aimed at making guests feel appreciated and our unconditional guarantee to provide the very best experience, we proudly offer a highly desirable location for business or leisure travelers."

The property offers amenities such as complimentary WiFi, state-of-the art 24-hour fitness center and a well-equipped meeting room for up to 30 people. The new hotel also features a 24-hour snack and bar area and hot breakfast served daily. Guestrooms are equipped with a security box, 40-in. HDTV, coffeemaker, and more.

The brand fosters a culture of hospitality called Hamptonality, which describes each hotel's approach to customer service, anticipating guests' needs and providing travelers with helpful suggestions about area attractions, historical facts and fun things to do around town. Additionally, hotels are infused with local photography and artwork, highlighting each property's connection and support to its own community.
