The German National Tourist Office (GNTO) has been voted as the ‘Best Overseas Destination for Groups’ in the 2015 Group Travel Organiser Awards as voted by the readers of Group Travel Organiser Magazine. The award was accepted by Charles Wilson, sales manager UK and Ireland for the GNTO at a ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, in London.
Germany previously won ‘Best Overseas Destination for Groups’ in 2012. Commenting on these awards, Klaus Lohmann, director of the GNTO UK and Ireland said: “Group Travel is a very important factor in the overall picture of tourism for Germany and we are delighted readers of Group Travel Organiser have once more voted for Germany. It is a country of great variety, appealing to many different interests and offers good value for money. We are grateful to the readers of the magazine and to those in the group travel industry for their continued support and enthusiasm for destination Deutschland”.
