NEW YORK - Ecuador's Ministry of Tourism announces the kick-off of a 10-day road show aimed at educating tour operators, travel agents and media on the destination. More than 20 of the most important Ecuadorian tour operators and suppliers will display products, services and experiences available to U.S. and Canadian travelers. As part of the event, representatives from the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador will give a short presentation addressing the state of the country and offering insight on new developments.
"Ecuador is a unique destination that offers visitors an experience unlike any other. Through the 'All You Need Is Ecuador' road show we are confident we will be able to showcase the beauty, diversity, and vast culture that our country has to offer to key stakeholders," said Cristina Rivadeneira, Under- Secretary of Markets of Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador. "While we have participated in similar initiatives in the past, this is the first time we will be making so many consecutive stops and covering such a wide territory with the best of our tourism offer. This is a huge investment in time and resources for the Ministry of Tourism and a testament to the importance of these markets for Ecuador's tourism."
The Road Show will be making stops in the following cities:
