Azerbaijan Airlines started capital to capital flights between Azerbaijan and Germany. The carrier flies from Baku to Berlin Tegel Airport since May 2nd. This summer, flights will be available twice a week – always on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
On both days, the aircraft depart from the Azerbaijani capital at 7:25am and arrive in Berlin-Tegel at 9:25am local time. The return flight takes off at 10:45am and lands in Baku at 6:40pm local time. The journey takes roughly five hours. Azerbaijan Airlines operates Airbus A319s seating 122 passengers on this route.
